Facts about SFDstudio: John Force's Oldsmobile Funny Car looks phenomenal.

In our continuing series on facts about SFDstudio, we go back to 1993, before car wraps were prominent. John Meehan aka “Sticky” was still one year away from starting Sticky Fingers Design and was then employed by Jerry Seivers of PaintN' Place in Placentia, CA. At Paint N' Place Sticky was tasked with hand cutting all the paint masks for many NHRA greats. Pictured here is John Force’s Oldsmobile Funny Car. After the car was based in pearl white, the car was painted using laid out graphics and hand cut lettering stencils. That year, John Force would go on to win his third championship in an amazing 18 championship win streak in 23 years, a great guy and a true champion.

One last look at the Breast Cancer Awareness Wrap before October comes to a close.

With October-Breast Cancer Awareness month coming to a close we thought we would share this eye-catching RAV4 wrap one more time. South Coast Toyota challenged us with the task of turning the white RAV4 into an eye catching mobile Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Because cancer awareness is of particular importance to us at SFDstudio we were both thrilled to be given the opportunity to design, produce and install the wrap and flattered that South Coast Toyota entrusted us with such a special project. Toyota RAV4 looking Pretty in Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

South Coast Toyota contacted SFDstudio to design, produce and install this extraordinary wrap to embellish the Toyota Rav4 you see here. It was a great privilege to be given an opportunity to design something exceptional for such a worthy cause, Breast Cancer Awareness. Once the project was completed South Coast Toyota handed the RAV4 over to the Breast Cancer Solutions Organization a group that provides patients with direct assistance, community referrals and support during the treatment and recovery of breast cancer. Nissan GTR steals the show

Last year SFDstudio was asked to enhance these Nissan GTR's with color change wraps and specially designed decals. These vehicles seen here are what was seen on the t.v. series Nissan GT Academy. 3M 1080 Gloss black and Gloss Hot Rod Red wrap films were used on this project.

John Wayne Airport outfits their 2015 Ford Explorer increasing safety for Orange County travelers.

John Wayne Airport contacted Sticky Fingers Design Studio to outfit their 2015 Ford Explorer with a cobalt blue, day-glow yellow and reflective wrap.  Although it may not be a wrap you’d see on a road vehicle it does function exceptionally well and helps increase the safety and visibility of this important JWA Operations vehicle when it’s on the airfield.

Paralyzed Veterans of America add a sleek new ride to their line up of Motorsports Vehicles, the Corvette C6

For more than 68 years, Paralyzed Veterans of America has been on a mission to change lives and build brighter futures for our seriously injured heroes—to empower these brave men and women with what they need to achieve the things they fought for: freedom and independence.

Today, the work continues to create an America where all veterans and people with disabilities, and their families, have everything they need to live full and productive lives. 

Paralyzed Veterans national officers and our 34 chapters represent thousands of veterans in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. 

The PVA Cal-Diego chapter contacted Sticky Fingers Design asking us to create, produce and install the custom wrap you see below on their C6 Corvette, one of several high-powered vehicles in their Motorsport fleet. We jumped at the chance to assist such a genuinely worthy organization by adorning the Corvette with stylized patriotic graphics for what has to be one of the most enjoyable events they offer our nation's veterans. 

The PVA, Cal-Diego Motorsports Team competes in the SCCA SOLO 2 Autocross Series held at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. They actively run 3-4 adaptive controlled race cars monthly including this Corvette C6. The PVA - Cal-Diego team offers Ride-A-Longs with their drivers on practice Saturdays, and encourage anyone with a spinal cord injury or disease who ever dreamed of auto racing to come on out and see what our one-of-a-kind program is all about.

This Ferrari 458 Italia ups its cool factor with a roof wrap and some sleek racing stripes.

Ferrari's are a head-turning vehicles, but what can a person do to make their already beautiful car stand out from the crowd? Add a roof wrap and some simple but bold racing stripes of course. That's exactly what we did for this Ferrari. How great will this vehicle look racing down the highway or on track days?
